Our Company
Caribbean Advanced Recycling, Inc. (CAR) was established on the island of Barbados in 2008 to fill a lack of sustainable recycling practices on the island. As a Barbadian, it was very difficult for CAR's founder to see his beautiful island littered with trash and other debris including abandoned vehicles. A heartfelt desire and passion grew within him to do something to make the island more pristine. Hence the idea of introducing large-scale recycling into the island culture was born.
CAR sets about finding ways of how recycling could help preserve the existing ways of how recycling could help preserve the existing beauty of the land. Also, the company’s goal is to educate others how to do their part to maintain the beauty and integrity of the land. Our passion is to help find solutions that will retain sustainability and preservation for future generations.
Our Mission
The mission of CAR is to be a company of goodwill, working to preserve the natural beauty of the environment. We will accomplish this through innovation, advances, and recycling products. One goal is to provide education, employment and growth opportunity for our employees, stockholders, and the people of the country we operate in.
Our strategy is to remove the hazards that adversely affect tourism, safety, health, and agriculture. Doing this will increase the global competitiveness of a region for manufacturing.
